Chennai, India – Prasad Corporation Ltd., a member of Prasad Group, India’s leading post production services provider, has entered into a licensing and know-how transfer agreement with imcube labs, Germany to provide Stereoscopic (2D to 3D) Conversion Services using imcube's patented solutions.Sai Prasad Director of Prasad Corporation Ltd says, "In the emerging scenario India is fast becoming the back office destination for the global media and entertainment business. 3D content is becoming a standard across different media platforms including cinema and television. Huge volumes of existing 2D content will require to be converted into 3D. We have been doing a lot of R&D in this area through our dedicated facilities in India for some time now and the association with imcube will help us reach the next level. We now plan to expand capacity in our 2D to 3D conversion division significantly as a number of overseas projects including major upcoming feature titles are already in the pipeline".
